oooh I love this. The rich inks, the crosshatching and the seamless bleed from boy to those inky monsters. Very surreal concept!

i am obsessed with drawing tube critters with 20s animation style faces! i just can't stop. i was wondering if you could tell me a bit more about this, or how you feel about the classic cartoon look in general.

but anyways, i really love this, it's so uncomfortable & resonates somewhere deep inside my subconscious in a way i wish i could understand but never will. cheers!

Oi, broheim, this is really lovely. I think it would translate gorgeous to traditional ink and pen, should you ever feel the inclination. The tones made by the crosshatching are wonderful, along with a great flow between the figure and his buds (literally and figuratively).
